Lecture by NASA Astronaut Dr. Kjell N. Lindgren to Be Held!

We are pleased to announce that, in collaboration with the U.S. Consulate in Fukuoka, we will host a special lecture featuring Dr. Kjell N. Lindgren.

Dr. Lindgren currently serves as Deputy Director of the Flight Operations Directorate at NASA’s Johnson Space Center. As an astronaut, he has accumulated a total of 311 days in space and has extensive experience flying aboard both the Russian Soyuz spacecraft and SpaceX’s Crew Dragon.

In this lecture, he will share his valuable firsthand experiences, offering insights into the forefront of space exploration and the responsibilities of an astronaut.
Following the lecture, a panel discussion will be held with faculty members from Kyushu Institute of Technology specializing in space-related fields, to further explore the future of research and education in the space domain.
